Director Hari’s car damaged by village youth

The shooting of the Suriya starrer Singam is progressing at Pallakulam in Thirunelveli. A police station set, at a cost of Rs. 3 lakhs, was erected for the purpose. While director Hari was filming a scene where anti social elements destroy the cars lined up at the sets he was shocked to find that his brand new car was also razed down.

According to sources in the film unit, the director had his car in the line up and had instructed the artistes concerned to damage the dummy cars and leave the rest. However, when he decided to use some of the village youths for the scene they failed to give them proper instructions resulting in the damage. The director, however, took it in the right spirit and continued with the shooting.
