Just as Gautham Vasudev Menon is wrapping up work on Neethaane En Ponvasantham, media reports were ripe with speculations of his next project being the sequel to Vinnaithaandi Varuvaaya. Many reports were suggesting that GVM is set to work with STR again for VTV-2.
According to our sources, GVM at the moment is strongly focused on the pre-production of the project for which he has signed Suriya. Although they have not entirely dismissed the prospect of GVM working with Simbu again later, they have asserted that the director’s attention will be on NEP first and the Suriya project after that.
