Yet another London lassy is making her debut in the Tamil Film Industry. Samira is a former Miss UK (2009) winner. Amy Jackson too made her debut in Kollywood, after she won a beauty pageant contest. Samira plays the lead lady in the upcoming film, Vinnai Thodu.
Incidentally, the name of the director is also Vijay (Same as the director of Madrasapattinam, who introduced Amy). Tej, who played the protagonist in Gandham, plays the lead in this romantic flick. The film has been shot in Chennai, Bangalore, Mysore and London.
