Karthi is keeping himself busy with a number of projects. He has completed Alex Pandian and the shoot for Venkat Prabhu’s Biriyani is all set to start very soon, followed by Rajesh’s All in All Azhagu Raja. Now, we learn through our sources that the release of Suraaj’s Alex Pandian has been scheduled for Pongal. Incidentally, this is the first film that is announced for Pongal and the film lovers are eagerly awaiting the details about other films as well.
Alex Pandian marks the first time association of Karthi and Anushka Shetty as the lead pair. However, the latter made a guest appearance in Karthi starrer Saguni. Santhanam, Nikitha, Sanusha, Milind Soman and Suman form the rest of the cast. Devi Sri Prasad has scored the music and Studio Green has funded the project.
