We have come to know that Prabhu Solomon's Kumki has backed out of the Diwali race. It was supposed to release along with biggies like Thuppakki for the festival occasion and Studio Green were to distribute the movie.
Now, the latest we hear is that the director plans to re-shoot some scenes involving close-up shots of the lead actor Vikram Prabhu. Also, the romantic scenes between the heroine Lakshmi Menon and the hero are going to be re-shot to give them some extra edge.
Prabhu Solomon feels that Kumki being a highly crucial film for him post the big success of Mynaa, as well as this being the launch pad for Nadigar Thilagam Sivaji Ganesan's grandson, he doesn't mind reshooting some scenes to give them more perfection.
