Gundello Godari is an upcoming bilingual in Tamil and Telugu with the Tamil version titled Maranthen Mannithen. The film stars Aadhi and Taapsee in lead roles and is being produced by Lakshmi Manchu who is the daughter of yesteryear actor Mohan Babu. Superstar Rajinikanth and Mohan Babu happen to be very close friends and during Mohan Babu's recent visit to Chennai they happened to have a telephonic chat during which Rajini had asked about the progress of this film.
The Superstar even decided to surprise the film's crew by turning up at the re-recording of the film which was in progress at Prasad Studios, Chennai. Maestro Ilaiyaraja is the composer of this flick and his recording facility is at the Prasad Studios. Needless to say, the entire cast and crew including the Maestro were thrilled at the presence of the Superstar and they spent some nice moments chatting about the film, it seems.
Rajini was particularly impressed with the work of cameraman Pazhani Kumar. Following Rajini's words of encouragement, producer Lakshmi Manchu feels doubly confident about the film's prospects and also about her own abilities.
