The music of STR's Podaa Podi was released last week and the album has received unanimous praise for being very peppy and youthful. The CD sales have been terrific and Sony Music has received a repeat order due to this high demand. CDs are selling like hotcakes and night clubs, parties are grooving to the beats of 'Love Pannalama Venaama' sung by STR himself.
Appan Mavane Vaada, again sung by STR, is another surefire winner in this album which is replete with other feel-good romantic numbers. Composer Dharan deserves the accolades and recognition that Podaa Podi is getting.
This is another instance of a Simbu album rocking the charts as his previous films like Manmadhan, Vallavan, Vaanam, Silambaattam and Vinnaithaandi Varuvaaya also zoomed to the top of the music charts.
