After few concerns over the release of Kumki, now director Prabhu Solomon, talking exclusively to Behindwoods, has confirmed that the film will definitely be released for Deepavali. He also has said that the re-recording for the film is presently happening using live instruments.
Starring Vikram Prabhu and Lakshmi Menon in the lead, the film has Imman’s music and Sukumar’s cinematography. Thirupathi Brothers has produced the project and Studio Green is distributing it.
Kumki will join Thuppakki and Podaa Podi, the other two big movies in the Deepavali race.
Vikram Prabhu, the grandson of the legendary actor Dr.Sivaji Ganesan has already grabbed the attention of most of the filmmakers in Tamil. His next film with Engeyum Eppodhum fame Saravanan is all set to go on floors from October 24th. This film will also be produced by Thirupathi Brothers.
