Boldness has its price and the gutsy Kamal Haasan knows it well. When it comes to censors, the board has always been strict and films like Aalavandhan and Virumandi are fine examples. Now, his ambitious project Vishwaroopam has been certified U/A by the censor board, with just a couple of minor cuts. The U/A is probably for the violence.
The Hindi version of the film, Vishwaroop has been certified ‘A’, without any cuts. The release date of the film is still unknown, but the music release is in November, say reports.
The film jointly produced by Raaj Kamal Films and PVP cinemas, stars Kamal Haasan, Pooja Kumar, Andrea Jeremiah, Rahul Bose, Jaideep Ahlawat, Nassar, Zarina Wahab and Miles Anderson. This film is expected to have exploited the newest sound and VFX technologies that have never been utilised in Indian cinema before.
Shankar-Eshaan- Loy have composed music for the film and Sanu Verghese has cranked the camera. The sequel is also touted to have been completed and the word is that it will immediately follow the release of the first part.
