Superstar Rajinikanth is known to be a fierce devotee of Sri Raghavendra Swami and even his 100th movie was about this saint. Recently, the star has made a donation of 10 crores to Sri Raghavendra Swami's holy shrine in Manthralayam. He has been a regular visitor to this temple for many years including his birthdays.
A press note informing Rajini's generous donation was released by the concerned authorities. All the old buildings on the back of the Sarvagnya Mandir in this Raghavendra shrine in Mantralayam, would be dismantled and 25 fresh A/C cottages and 100 general rooms would be constructed. A beautiful garden would also be built with the remaining funds.
