Having been certified ‘U’ by the censor board, Maattrraan’s release has been confirmed for 12th October. The extra bit of news is that the trailer of STR’s Podaa Podi will be screened during the interval block of the KV Anand film.
And what’s more, if the title issue of Thuppakki comes to an end tomorrow, the trailer of the Vijay starrer might also be screened during Maattrraan’s interval block. For now, AR Murugadoss, the director of Thuppakki, has requested the fans of Vijay to be patient till justice is served and said that they are doing everything to retain the title as they have put in a lot of efforts into the film.
The makers of Thuppakki are looking to release the film on November 13th and Podaa Podi will release on November 9th.
