Thaandavam has just completed its opening weekend and the film has witnessed good collections in the US if reports are to be believed. The first weekend has collected more than 67 lakhs in Indian rupees from 32 screens (128,000 in USD). Thaandavam had competition from the Telugu film Rebel which collected much lesser from higher number of screens. The Prabhas starrer collected more than 45 lakhs from 42 screens (85,800 in USD).
These collections are Vikram's highest in the US compared to all his previous films. The collections from other overseas markets are awaited.
