Samantha's popularity has reached untold heights in the South and she is determined to use her fame to benefit the less fortunate. She is working with the Haemophilia society in Hyderabad and is interacting with leading doctors like Dr Pamela Narayan, Dr Sailesh and Dr Singhi to increase awareness and to raise funds for people afflicted with this condition.
Haemophilia is a genetic disorder which Samantha says is expensive to treat and which persists lifelong in those affected. She has asked fans to show their support through a microblogging site and is hoping that the government will reduce taxes on the imported medication. Great going Samantha!
