Ilaiyaraja's music in Neethane En Ponvasantham has gone over very well with fans and he has proved that his talent is timeless and eternal. French Loaf, the largest chain of bakers in India has decided to pay tribute to him with a 100 metre long cake that will weigh 1000 kgs! The icing on the cake is that it will feature 1000 photos of the maestro and his movies from Annakilli to NEP which will be printed chronologically on sugar sheets with edible ink and superimposed on top of the giant cake.
The confection will be created by a team of 25 chefs led by Bhoopesh Pichaimani from French Loaf and Le Chocalatier. Each photograph will be sized at 1 kg and sold for Rs. 1500. This culinary marvel will be displayed at Express Avenue on October 2nd and the proceeds from this sweet tribute will go to Ekam Foundation, a charitable organization that seeks to provide the best in healthcare for underprivilileged children.
Fans are salivating already!
