Pa Ranjith, who had apprenticed under director Venkat Prabhu, is wielding the megaphone for Atta Kathi. The director has said that this film deals with the lives of youngsters living in the suburbs, their ambition to get into the film industry, their love life, etc.
The film stars Dinesh who is currently acting in a film titled Thasaiyinai Theechudum and will mark the acting debut of the Bangalore-based Shwetha. Kabilan and Thamizhvanan have penned the lyrics for Atta Kathi and newbie Santhosh, who was the keyboard player in AR Rahman’s team, is the music director.
