Rajinikanth’s
visit to Mumbai to promote Robot as well
as to participate at the special screening
of the film for Bollywood film personalities
went off well. The Superstar also made it
a point to visit Bal Thackeray at his residence
Matoshree. The meeting lasted for about
40 minutes. During the meeting Rajini expressed
his desire to star in a Marathi film.
The actor also said that he always desired
to meet Thackeray as he is like a God
to him.
Bal Thackeray enquired about Rajini’s
age and his fitness mantra. Their discussion
also revolved around the technicalities
that went into the making of Robot.
Rajini, it may be recalled, was born
in a Maharashtrian family as Shivajirao
Gaikwad.
