Thuppakki might have captured million hearts, but a section of people are still unhappy with the way the film portrays the Muslims. Demonstrations were staged outside Vijay’s and AR Murugadoss’ houses and Kalaipuli Thanu had to interfere and make a compromise with the Muslims.
As requested by the agitators, Thanu has chopped few scenes from the film. Vijay has also requested the Ministry of Internal Affairs to provide security to all the theaters screening Thuppakki and to the residences of the makers.
