Fifteen years back, AR Rahman came up with a patriotic album, which eventually became one of the best of AR Rahman and had a beautiful number, which till today is celebrated as one of the most patriotic numbers. It’s the 15th anniversary of AR Rahman’s ‘Maa Tujhe Salaam’.
Quoting the Academy Award winning musician, “I could never do another album as a self expression like Maa Tujhe Salaam due to my film commitments and the journey of my life becoming unpredictable.” He has also hinted on doing another music album like Maa Thuje Salaam soon.
AR Rahman’s last work in Tamil was Enthiran and the musician is trying to compensate his absence with a number of projects, namely Kadal, Mariyaan, Kochadaiyaan and I. In Hindi Jab Tak Hai Jaan is just released and Raanjhnaa, Chennai Express, Shekar Kapur’s Paani, Imtiaz Ali’s project are some of his awaited works.
