Tamilselvanum Thaniyar Anjalum starring Jai has been on the look out for a heroine for quite some time. Though initially it was said that Ananya might do the lead role, it did not materialise. Now the director of the film, Prem Sai, a former associate of Prabhu Deva has zeroed in on Yami Gautham who has acted in the film Vicky Donor. Yami Gautham has been signed for the rom-com, which has music by Karthik.
Santhanam and VTV Ganesh are also in the cast. While Om Prakash is the DOP, Rajeev will take care of the art direction. Antony will be in charge of editing and the stunts are by Dilip Subbarayan and choreography by Brinda.
