It is common knowledge that choreographer-director Raghava Lawrence shares a history with Superstar Rajinikanth. It was a history that literally reinvented the dance master and drew him to closer proximity with Rajini. In a recent interview to a print magazine, Raghava Lawerence spoke about his closeness with Rajinikanth.
Accepting the Superstar’s invitation to his residence on the occasion of Navarathiri, Raghava Lawrence brought his wife and child along. At the function, it seems Rajini enquired Lawerence about his wife’s name, for which the dancer - actor - director responded by saying it was Latha. Rajini immediately countered by saying ”.. its Latha for you and Latha for me, Raghavendra for you and Raghavendra for me. Super super.”
Yet another instance where Rajini has displayed his attachment to core values such as family and spiritual devotion.
