Debutant director Balaji Tharaneetharan’s comedy Naduvula Konjam Pakkatha Kaanom (NKPK) will finally see its release in December. The film was ready for release in September and even a couple of special screenings for the press and the film fraternity was held. The film got positive talk from the small section of audience that watched it, yet the makers pulled back from the original release date possibly to avoid a clash with Vikram’s Thaandavam which came out at the same time.
Now we have reports that suggest that JSK Film Corporation, the producers of Marina, have acquired the theatrical rights of NKPK and are expecting to release it on December 7th. The movie will hopefully be a good follow up for Vijay Sethupathy after his success with Pizza. Gayathree of 18 Vayasu fame will play opposite him.
