Nayanthara has had an illustrious career in Tamil and she has already worked with big stars like Rajini, Ajith, Vijay, Suriya, STR and Dhanush. However, till now, she hasn’t worked with Kamal Haasan. During the ‘Raja Rani’ movie launch function which Kamal attended, Nayanthara expressed her interest in doing a film with the senior star. She even spoke to Kamal at length about her role in 'Raja Rani' and is confident that she would bag a role in one of Kamal’s future films.
Raja Rani is the maiden venture of director Atlee, a former assistant of director Shankar. It also features Arya and Jai and is a triangular love story.
