According to a press release the First Theatre School for Acting, Valasaravakkam, conducted a play titled Mohana. There were celebrities that attended this stage show to encourage the artistes and notable among them were Paruthi Ilamvazhuthi, SP Jananathan Rasu Madhuvaran.
Muthusami, the founder of the popular acting school Koothu Pattarai, presided over the function.
