Shriya Saran was shooting for her Allari Naresh film in Hyderabad when a group of Telangana supporters arrived on the scene and disrupted the shoot. They demanded that she say Jai Telangana on TV and the actress wishing to avoid trouble tried to leave. Immediately the group turned hostile and they pelted her car with stones, breaking two windows.
The actress escaped unhurt but she was furious. She posted pictures of her broken windows on a social networking site and said that the incident happened in broad daylight in the presence of cops. Shriya said that as an Indian she had the right to her freedom and safety and this sort of thing should not be allowed to happen.
