The Treasurer of the Producers’ Council S Dhanu appealed to the organization that is against the release of Thambi Vettothi Sundaram. He said that the film, which is based on real life incidents, will be an eye opener to the society.
Dhanu added that the film will place Thambi Vettothi Sundaram, who lived in Kanyakumari district, a cut above the others. He also stated that it is not fair to oppose the film’s release without seeing the contents and if the protestors get to see the film they will understand that it has shown the gloriousness of Kanyakumari district and not otherwise.
Thambi Vettothi Sundaram stars Karan, Anjali and Saravanan in the lead roles with VC Vadivudayan wielding the megaphone.
