Speculations were rife about the lucky missies who would be sharing screen space with Aamir Khan in his next flick. Finally, Aamir clears up the air announcing that Rani Mukherji and Kareena Kapoor have been signed for the project.
Aamir Khan, producer Farhan Akhtar and filmmaker Reema Kagti were on the pursuit of actresses nearly for a couple of months. As the female lead characters have a substantial role to perform in this suspense-thriller, the trio was keen on signing the ones, who would be much suitable for the script. Having considered nearly a dozen of actresses, Aamir Khan zeroed down on Kareena Kapoor and Rani Mukherji.
It’s noteworthy that these heroines have already streaked success with Mr. Perfectionist – Rani Mukherji in ‘Ghulam’ and ‘Mangal Pandey’ while Kareena Kapoor in ‘3 Idiots’. Nearly 12 years after ‘Sarfarosh’, Aamir Khan plays the role of cop working on his own rules and laws. Though the film’s storyline remains unravelled, the closer sources admit that it will be an edge-of-the-seat thriller.
