Director Mysskin’s defamatory
statement against assistant directors
has irked the assistant directors. The
director had reportedly berated an assistant
director with foul language when the AD
told that he does not read books. Mysskin,
who is an avid reader, was apparently
unhappy with this attitude and rebuked
the AD.
About 100 assistant directors gathered
at the Directors’ Council office
in Vadapalani demanding an apology from
Mysskin for using foul language on assistant
directors.
When the director did not turn up at
the Council office, the assistant director
went on a lock-in strike at the premises
at 4 pm yesterday. This strike is expected
to continue today until Mysskin apologizes
for his remarks.
