To honor the 'Wizard of Words' Vaali
on his 80th birthday, a book titled "Vaali
Aayiram" will be released in Chennai.
A compilation of Vaali's 1000 movie songs,
Vaali Ayiram has been developed by Kumaran
publications. Kamal Haasan will release
the first copy and director Shankar will
receive it. Nalli Kuppuswamy Chettiar
will preside over the function.
M. S. Viswanathan, S. P. Muthuraman, Cho,
actors Saroja Devi and Suriya, singers
P. Suseela and SPB, and Pazhani Bharathi
will felicitate Vaali. The function will
be held at the Narada Gana Sabha on November
13, 2010 at 6 PM.
