Bagyanjali, who had starred in films
like Unnaiye Kadhalikkiren and Nellu,
lodged a complaint with the Chennai Police
Commissioner that her co-star Velu in
Unnaiye Kadhalikkiren is threatening to
make public some of the photos and videos
of her in a compromising position with
him.
Following this, Velu sought anticipatory
bail and went to the Vepery Police Station
to be investigated. During the investigation
Velu said that Bagyanjali had borrowed
a huge sum of money from him but when
he asked her to return this amount she
filed a police complaint alleging that
he was sexually torturing her.
The police have said that Bagyanjali
would be called for further investigations.
