The Ishtam team held a press meet yesterday. Santhanam who was present there said that he was interested in the project as it was a remake of Telugu hit Yemaindi Ee Vela. He said, “Post Oru Kal Oru Kannadi, people’s expectations have increased. So I had to be very careful in making my part better from my previous one. I’m sure the film has come out well.”
Prem Nazir, the film’s director said, “We have shot two songs in Switzerland. The comedy sequences have come out perfectly. I’m very sure the film will entertain the audience.”
The film stars Vimal, Santhanam, Nisha Aggarwal, Anoop Kumar and Parvathi Nifran. Thaman has done the music and Shekar Joseph the cinematography.
