Following the huge success of ‘Pasanga’ and ‘Kalavani’, actor Vimal became the sweet child of producers and distributors as they considered him as the ‘Safest Bet’. Accordingly Vimal started taking scrutinizing efforts over choosing some unique scripts as the results of his previous film ‘Thoonga Nagaram’ didn’t exceed his expectations.
Vimal rejected nearly 50 scripts in the past couple of months as he didn’t feel them unique in any way. However, newcomer Amudhan Suresh (former associate of director-producer Sakthi Chidambaram) seems to have impressed him with an engrossing script.
Yes, Vimal has approved the script and the film will go on floors once he completes shooting for ‘Vaagai Sooda Vaa’. Set in rural backdrops, the film is touted to be a rom-com and rest of the crew members will be confirmed shortly.
