Action King Arjun performing the role of a Jungle King isn’t something new to us. We have been witnessing the prototyped roles nearly for couple of decades. But for the first time, he is up with a different theme and the film is directed by the 7-times National award winner for action, choreographer Tinu Varma from Bollywood. This will be a trilingual film simultaneously released in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi.
Set in the backdrops of thickly populated jungle, the film revolves around three couple (Played by Mr. India title winner Rajneesh, Miss India Sayali Bhagath, Miss Assam Hanaya - Amith and Jahan – Jennifer). These young couples are on their adventurous journey across the deep-rooted forests and is exposed to a dangerous situation that will cost their lives. They come across a couple (performed by Arjun and actress Priyanka Desai) and seek refuge.
The film has been shot across the backdrops of Thalaikonam forest in Kerala. Fifty well trained horses have been used for the shooting and at times, they would face the upheavals as leopards try to attack the camp.
Arjun recalls that he shares a ‘lucky sentiment’ with forests as ‘Jai Hind’ that was shot in backdrops of forests became a major hit and so will be this ‘Kaattu Puli’.
