Sargunam has said that Vaagai Sooda Vaa’s shooting will be completed in 15 days time. He also revealed that a set had been built in Aruppukottai at a cost of Rs. 1 crore to capture the essence of the 1960s as the film is set in the year 1966. The director has said that this film will be very different from Kalavani and movie buffs are sure to enjoy watching it.
The audio launch of Vaagai Sooda Vaa will take place in June and the movie will be released in the first week of August. Gibran, a close friend of Sargunam, has scored the music for this film and the lyrics have been penned by Vairamuthu.
Sargunam has used the same set of technicians he had worked with in Kalavani. Art direction is done by Seenu, who has assisted Sabu Cyril in several films.
