Ashwin Shekar gets engaged

Ashwin Shekar, son of actor-and-politician S Ve Shekar, got enagaged to Shruti Venkatraman at the GRT Convention Centre in Chennai yesterday, May 8^th, 2011. Ashwin is also an actor and had starred in films like Vegam and Ninaivil Nindraval. Their wedding is scheduled to be held on August 24^th, 2011 at the Mayor Raamanathan Chettiyar Hall in Chennai.

Yesterday’s engagement was a grand affair with several actors and politicians attending it. Notable among them are Cho Ramasawamy, GK Vasan, EVKS Elangovan, Jagathrakshagan, Kushboo, Sundar C, Poornima Bhagyaraj, and Kavignar Kasimuthu.
