It is not just Deepika Padukone who is excited about working with the Superstar for the first time but also the film's art director Rajeevan. Director KS Ravikumar has roped in popular art director Rajeevan to create the sets for Rana and needless to say Rajeevan is highly excited. The art director said that 90% of Rana will be shot in sets and he cannot wait to create some great ones. He also added that the film will be set in the 17th century and that will give him a lot of scope to show creativity but it also involves exhaustive research.
Rana's shooting took a flying start on the 29th of April at AVM Studios with a pooja and with K Balachandar directing the first shot. Rana will have music by AR Rahman and the music director will be composing 6 tracks. Ganja Karuppu will take care of the comedy portion and work is going on to finalize two more heroines who will pair up with Rajinikanth.
