Telugu blockbuster, Sri Ramarajyam based on the epic Ramayana is to be dubbed and released in Tamil. Balakrishna and Nayanthara played Rama and Sita in the film. SP Balasubramanyam will dub for Balakrishna and Chinmayi for Nayanthara.
Directed by Bapu the film has music by Ilaiyaraja. It received rave reviews from the critics and both Balakrishna and Nayanthara received laurels for their performances. It was supposed to be Nayan's swan song and apparently she put her heart and soul into the role.
