The inmates of Salem Central Jail got a special treat as they got to watch Vijay starrer Nanban on Sunday. This is part of an initiative taken by the government to treat prisoners more humanely. Extra curricular activities are arranged once in a while to give them some release from the rigours of prison life.
Needless to say, Nanban was enjoyed by the prisoners and gave their morale a big boost. Nanban directed by Shankar is a remake of Rajkumar Hirani's 3 Idiots and has Vijay, Jiiva, Srikanth, Sathyaraj and Ileana in the lead. Music is by Harris Jeyaraj.
