It has completed six tweet years and still going stronger. Exactly six years ago Twitter, the micro-blogging site had only five employees. Today it has more than 800 of them. For the past six years it has helped over 100 million users to keep in touch with their loved ones.
Celebrities poured their birthday wishes to twitter yesterday. Aishwarya Dhanush, daughter of Superstar Rajinikanth and wife of actor Dhanush tweeted, “Happy birthday twitter. U have made my life and family much larger..:) Godspeed!”
Actress Mamta Mohandas tweeted, “Happy 6th birthday twitter!”
Until six years back, only birds could tweet. Now more than 100 million humans tweet every day. Thanks to twitter, every tweet of theirs has helped them in connecting with more people than one could ever imagine.
