For what has to be the first time in Tamil cinema history, the makers of Amala Paul and Atharva starrer Muppozhudhum Un Karpanaigal, are considering to release another version of the film. The film directed by Elred Kumar was released in February. Elred Kumar says, “For the first time in the history of Tamil cinema we will release a different version of a film. The footage for the alternate version of MUK is ready.” Probe him a little more and he says that it might even have a different climax. Though the makers are looking for a U/A certificate, the chances of getting an A certificate for the film cannot be ruled out.
The original MUK was released with a clean 'U' certificate and received mixed reviews. RS Infotainment had produced this film.
