If sources and reports from industry
are to be believed, STR might not feature
in the Vada Chennai by National award
winning director Vetri Maran. It’s
heard that now talks are on with Jiiva
to do the role of STR in the film. However,
sources very close to Jiiva have said
that though talks are there, Jiiva is
yet to take a call on this. It has to
be recalled that the role of Jiiva as
a photo- journalist in the film Ko was
earlier offered to STR. Later on, STR
had appreciated Jiiva’s acting in
Ko, which went on to become one of the
biggest hits in 2011. Let’s wait
and see whether history will repeat. The
film has Andrea in the female lead.
