Rakshitha who made her debut in Tamil with STR in the film, Dum had bid adieu to films after her marriage to Kannada director, Prem. But now she is back in the limelight. The actress has announced her decision to join the BSR Congress, headed by Sriramulu. She said that she will strive to bring out the upliftment of the poor and needy.
Rakshitha had a good career in Tamil as she managed to become none other than Vijay's heroine in Madura. Coincidentally, Divya Spandana who also made her Tamil debut with STR in Kuthu has also joined the Youth Congress in Karnataka.
