Malayalam actor Jagathy Sreekumar was in a bad road accident and sustained some serious injuries. The doctors attending him said that the next 48 hours are important as they will determine his recovery. Surgery was performed on his abdomen to stop the internal bleeding and it was deemed successful. However, the actor suffered multiple injuries in his neck, chest and abdomen and will need more surgery. But before the doctors can go ahead, they have to wait for his system to become stable and for the next 48 hours he will be closely monitored.
The actor is 62 and has acted in more than a 1000 films and has excelled as a comedian. He is also a part of many upcoming films.
