Director Ameer has refuted the allegations levelled against him by the producers of Karthi starring Alex Pandian. He says that he is not aware of the happenings at the film’s shooting and he has nothing to do with it. “A crucial meeting is to happen in a couple of days at the FEFSI regarding the wages of camera and lights men. By levelling charges against me they are trying to divert my attention and keep me away from the significant meeting,” says Ameer. Earlier, Gnanavelraja of Studio Green, the producer of Alex Pandian has told the media that he has been suspecting director Ameer's hands in stopping the shoot of his film. The FEFSI strike which has crossed 40 days has been impacting the shooting of not only the small budget films, but also of the biggies in a major way.
