Aishwarya Dhanush battled a high fever to be present at an event organized by HDFC in association with ValueNotes, a leader in market analysis and research. The event was to reveal the findings of a study conducted by them. According to the study, the urban Indian woman is not financially independent and has a long way to go in terms of satisfactory financial planning and sufficiency.
What was heartening was that most of these women had a degree in Financial discipline. The event was held to increase awareness about the issue and to open the eyes of women to the importance of financial independence that will allow them to become empowered while providing useful suggestions as well. Mr Sanjay Tripathi and Ms Prathiba Kurloon were also present.
