Although the multi-starrer Ninaithale Inikkum in which he starred in a significant role was a hit, no other movies Shakthi starred in after that gave him a bigger name. His Aetho Saithai Ennai went on floors recently and is in progress in and around Chennai. He is cast opposite Liya, a budding Malayalam actress and the movie is directed by a debut director.
Music for Aetho Saithai Ennai is composed by Ganesh Kumar, whose earlier credentials include a Hollywood Film. Ganesh also won a sound award for the film and this is his first Tamil film.
