Playback singer MLR Karthikeyan is basking in glory after the song Kannitheevu Ponna… in Yudham Sei became a chartbuster. The singer says that as soon as the rendition of the song, Yudham Sei’s director Mysskin said that he had just sung the super-hit song of the year. He has 50 songs to his credit till date including the popular number Vada Vada Paiyya in Kacheri Aarambam, Asal, and Thambi Kottai.
The singer says that his wish is to sing for all the stars and in the music direction of all music directors. Karthikeyan says that he has crooned for Kannada and Telugu movies as well with Maestro Ilayaraja wielding the music baton for a song in the Telugu flick Gayam 2.
