Director RK Selvamani, who had directed films like Chembaruthi and Makkal Aatchi, is back to wielding the megaphone. His upcoming film has been titled Akila. The shooting of Akila has begun in Chennai and the director has said the next schedules will be shot in Uttranchal, Jharkhand and West Bengal. The director is popular for directing political-flavored films and Akila will be no different, we are told.
RK Selvamani has roped in Anandan and Hudhasa, who will make their acting debut with Akila. He also disclosed that Akila is inspired from a real life incident but refused to disclose more details.
