Hyderabad-based lawyer Krishna Kumar Bhagwati has sought the court’s intervention to stall filmmaker Madana Mallu from making a film based on Nithyananda. The advocate alleges that Madana Mallu’s version, titled Sathyananda, is inspired from the police version and with the case still pending it should not be made into a film. The advocate has also obtained a stay order against a director for going ahead with the making of the film in Telugu titled Ayyaru.
South Indian filmmakers have been raring to make a film on Nithyananda ever since the godman was caught in a video in a compromising position with an actress but this latest development has stalled it for now.
