Udhayanidhi Stalin was present at a press meet for actor Vishnu’s movie, Kullanari Kootam as goodwill gesture. He was all praise for the movie as well as the cast and crew, congratulating them heartily on a job well done. It is a different subject which has shaped up very well.
The director, Sri Balaji said that the movie is set entirely in Madurai but there was no need to worry as this will not be like the slew of films that have been based on the temple city with generous helpings of violence and doomed love. Kullanari Kootam has no fight sequences or duets and it is simple a realistic story dealing with human emotions. Sounds good to us!
Word is that Vishnu has turned in a neat performance in this film. Kullanari Kootam is touted to be a milestone film in his career after Vennilla Kabbadi Kuzhu. Incidentally, the entire cast except for Saranya Mohan will be seen in the film. She has been replaced with Remya Nambeesan.
