Shakeela is famous for her blink and miss appearances in films of all regional languages where she invariably plays someone who makes every man around her lust for her. The actress has also done some full length B grade films that do decent business in certain areas. Recently, in Palayankottai, a Malayalam film starring Shakeela was dubbed and released as Ilamai Naatkal and the policemen were informed by anonymous sources that several scenes are extremely obscene and are being played despite the censors not approving it.
A case has been filed against actress Shakeela, actor Dinesh, theatre operator Paramasivam, Vaseegaran and other employees in the theatre. They are to appear in front of the Nellai JM 2 court regarding this case.
